KICK

Kids In Christ's Kingdom (KICK) is open to kindergarten through 5th grade, August through May. Our KICK children learned about God and the blessings of following Jesus.

Food Pantry Ministry

In 2014, during Rev. Richard Soper’s tenure at HUMC, the Food Pantry ministry expanded. It was entitled “Your one can, can make a difference.” Food donations were brought to the church every Communion Sunday. An empty room was available, and the food pantry had a home base. Monthly food donations, Trick or Eat foods, and monetary gifts keep the pantry stocked.

Then, in 2018, our church joined the local Backpack ministry sponsored by Antioch Baptist Church. We donate $225 per month, and some of our members help with packing the food sacks every third Thursday. Over 80 sacks are given to local school students every Friday, all thanks to your generosity.
